Glandwr Independent Chapel was built in 1712 and rebuilt/enlarged in 1717, 1774 and 1836. The chapel was renewed/ improved in 1876.

Hendy Cwrdd Congregational Chapel was built before 1800 and rebuilt in 1845. By 1889 this chapel stood in ruins and by 1914 had been demolished .
